KATY THE ONLY SCOT TO BEAT THE

SOLVESBORG CUT IN SWEDEN

Only Carnoustie's Katy McNicoll of the four Scots in the field survived the 36-hole cut in the Solvesborg Ladies Open at Solvesborg Golf Club, Sweden today.
Katy shot 77-75 for 152, the limit mark for retaining an active interest in Friday's final 18 holes.
Laura Murray's great run - payslips for £2,500 at each of her last two tournaments - came to an end with a pair of 78s for 156.
On the same mark as the Paul Lawrie Golf Centre player from Alford was Glasgow's Gemma Webster with scores of 77 and 79.
Jane Turner (Craigielaw) missed out on 155 with rounds of 79 and 76.
Three players share the lead on level par 144 - England's Emma Talor (74-70), Emma Westin (Sweden) (74-70) and Galina Rotmistrova (Russia) (73-71)
