COATBRIDGE'S EAMON BRADLEY SCORES FIRST WIN ON US COLLEGE CIRCUIT

Former Scottish boy international Eamon Bradley from Coatbridge, scored his first win earlier this week on the United States college golf circuit.
A freshman student at Southeastern Louisiana University, Eamon, pictured right, won the Carter Plantation Intercollegiate 54-hole tournament with a five-under-par aggregate of 211 (65-72-71) over a par-72 course of 7,104yd.
Bradley. who had two top-10 finishes to his credit and celebrates his 20th birthday on April 5, won by a shot by team-mate Rhys West (73-69-70).
Another team-mate and freshman from Scotland, Lawrence Allan from Alva, finished a creditable eighth in a field of 66 players. Lawrence, pictured below, had rounds of 74, 68 and 72 for two-under 214. This was his first top-10 finish, having enrolled at SE Louisiana only at the beginning of the year.

A third British player on the Southeastern Louisiana roster, Charlie Sault from Birmingham finished T46 on 235 with scores of 74-80-81.

They finished with a total of 861 with Austin Peay State and Sam Houston State joint runners-up on 874 in a field of 12 teams.
