Unveiling of the Breakthrough Breast Cancer 2012 Wall

Emma Wilson, Past President of SLGA, points out Ethel Jack's name
on the Breakthrough Breast Cancer 2012 wall

Many of the fund-raisers for the Charity, Breakthrough Breast Cancer, attended a reception last night in the Royal Society, George Street, Edinburgh.
Those present learned of the very worthwhile research being done to treat and eradicate breast cancer.
Breakthrough is one of the partners of the Ladies Golf Union,  and LGU members have raised over £250,000 over the last few years, through the Breakthrough Brooch and other initiatives.
Past SLGA President Emma Wilson has also raised a great deal of money with her pink sock project,  and this year she dedicated the money she had collected to the memory of Ethel Jack, who sadly died earlier this year.
