CRETE LADIES OPEN FIRST ROUND BLOWN AWAY

High winds on the Greek island of Crete forced the cancellation of Sunday's first round of the Crete Ladies Open, this week's event on the LETAS circuit.
Curtis Cup stars Holly Clyburn (Woodhall Spa) and Kelly Tidy (Royal Birkdale) make her debuts as professionals in this tournament. 
A third Curtis Cup heroine from The Nairn victory over the Americans back in June, Charley Hull is also in the field but no definite news yet about the date when she will turn professional.
Scots in the field are Kelsey MacDonald - still an amateur - plus pros Katy McNicoll, Gemma Webster, Pamela Feggans and Pamela Pretswell.
