BOYS/GIRLS' EVENT SWITCH FROM LETHAM GRANGE TO MONIFIETH

The ongoing doubt about the future of Letham Grange Hotel and its two golf courses has forced Angus County Golf Association to switch the annual triangular (North/North-east/Angus) inter-area boys and girls tournament - formerly known as the UBC Trophies - and before that the Grampian TV tournament - from Letham Grange to Monifieth Links. The date of the event in which the boys play 36 holes and the girls 18 holes is Sunday, September 4.
