Charley Hull, 14, wins Hampshire Rose

NEWS RELEASE ISSUED BY THE ENGLISH WOMEN'S GOLF ASSOCIATION
Northamptonshire 14-year-old Charley Hull (pictured by Cal Carson Golf Agency) won her second top scratch title of the year when she finished five shots clear of the field in the Hampshire Rose.
Charley, who won The Leveret at Formby last month, had rounds of 71 and 70 for a five-under par total of 141 at North Hants. The Kettering player is a past winner of the English U13 championship.
The runner up was England girl international Hayley Davis from Ferndown on level par 146. Three players tied on 150: Tara Watters from Muswell Hill, Raffi Dyer from Hayling and Georgia Hall, the English U13 champion from Ferndown.
The competition was played at the weekend and this proved very successful with the event being oversubscribed. The field of 66 included 24 juniors. The North Hants course was playing short but fast greens and tricky pin positions made it a good test of golf.
