Clare Queen top Scot in first round of

Indian Ladies Masters

Clare Queen 75 .... Kylie Walker 77 ... Michele Thomson 82.
That's the "Scotland" scores from the first round of the Indian Ladies Masters at the Eagleton Resort, Bangalore (Clare Queen pictured on right).
There is a three-way tie for the lead at three-under-par 69, featuring Lotta Wahlin (Sweden), Gwladys Nocera (France) and Anna Tybring (Sweden)
Michele Thomson's dad Graham, who is out there to lend support - and almost certainly caddieing - told
"Disappointing day at the office. Michele hit the ball great but if you are on the wrong side of the greens here, then three putts are inevitable. Having said, that six times was a bit of a choker!! Cheered up a bit when she found out she was only five behind Laura Davies.
"There is no cut in this tournament but hoping for better accuracy tomorrow."
