British women's open amateur stroke-play championship

EMMA CABRERA JOINS MELISSA REID IN
LEAD WITH ONE ROUND TO GO

Spanish Vagliano Trophy player Emma Cabrera joined long-time leader Melissa Reid from Derby in the lead at five-under-par 217 with one round to go in the British women's open amateur championship at Conwy Golf Club, Caernarvonshire today.
Emma had a third-round, five-under-par 69, enabling her to make up six shots of Melissa who had a disappointing - for her - round of 75.
Kylie Walker (Buchanan Castle) had her best round for some time, a three-under-par 71
which pulled her up through the field to eight-over 230. But Heather MacRae (Dunblane) remained the leading Scot in a share of fifth place with a 75 for 224.
