BANCHORY PLAYERS TO THE FORE AT ALFORD
Helen Edon (Banchory) won the top scratch prize in the North Veteran Ladies Golf Association meeting at Alford with an 82 (CSS 70).
Jill Macaulay (Banchory), playing off 18, won the Silver Division handicap section with a net 68 - two shots ahead of Helen Edon who had a 70 off her handicap of 12.
In the Bronze Division, yet another Banchory player, Helen Omand, won the top handicap prize with a 67 off 27. Valerie Kelly (Deeside) was runner-up with a 69 off 23.
Yvonne Elrick (Aberdeen Ladies) won the Tony Moffat Bowl with a net 76 off 18.
