JUNIOR MASTERS QUALIFIERS

STUART AND GILLIAN BEST AT FALKIRK TRYST

 

Stuart Bell (Linlithgow) and Gillian Simpson (Midlothian Ladies) headed the 12 qualifiers from the regional eliminator at Falkirk Tryst Golf Club today for the Scottish Junior Masters Grand Final over the Queen’s Course, Gleneagles Hotel on Sunday, October 8.

Stuart had the best of the boys’ Stableford returns with 43pt – one ahead of Callum Morrison (Kilspindie) and Myles Gillespie (Falkirk Tryst), who both had 42pt. Callum had the better inward half and so gained second prize.

Gillian Simpson topped the girls’ list with 39pt, one ahead of Emma Bisset (Elie & Earlsferry Ladies).
