INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS TOURNAMENT

 

CANADIAN LEADS FROM IRISHMAN IN

BOYD QUAICH AT ST ANDREWS

 

Canadian Justin Fluit has a one-shot lead from Irishman Niall O’Connor with one round to play – over the Old Course – in the Boyd Quaich international students’ golf championship at St Andrews.

Fluit, a student at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, has had a 73 over the Old Course and a 71 at the new for a total of 144 – a creditable score in quite windy conditions.

Niall, from the University of Dublin, made up some ground with an afternoon 70 over the New course for 145, having started with a 75 over the Old.
