EAST DIVISION COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP

 MIDLOTHIAN LEAD EAST LOTHIAN 2-1

 

Midlothian established a 2-1 foursomes lead over East Lothian on the second day of the East Division women’s inter-county team championship at Dunbar Golf Club today.

The partnerships of Wendy Nicholson and Rachael Livingstone, and Claire Hargan and Belinda Murphy got the points for Midlothian after East Lothian’s Fiona Prior and Line Mortensen had beaten Kirsten Blackwood and Claire MacDonald in the opening foursomes.

Fife started the singles with a 3-0 lead over Stirling & Clackmannan after making a clean sweep of the foursomes.
