ENGLISH WOMEN'S AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP

THREE CURTIS CUP PLAYERS
MAKE EARLY EXIT

Five members of the Great Britain & Ireland team for the Curtis Cup match at Formby on June 12-13 started the first day of the match-play stages of the English women’s amateur championship at Northamptonshire County Golf Club on Thursday.
Only two – Emma Duggleby and Shelley McKevitt – still had an active interest in the destination of the title at the end of the day.
