SCOTTISH SENIORS MATCHPLAY RESULTS -- STROKEPLAY CHAMPION FRANCES MILLER KNOCKED OUT IN FIRST ROUND

In this morning's 1st Round Championship leading qualifier Frances Millar was beaten by the 2016 Scottish Vets Champion Jennifer Bryans. 
Sheena Wood the defending  Champion made it through to the Quarter Finals by a 1 hole victory against Donna Jackson. Heather Anderson (2009 and 2012 champion ) playing over her home course and Fiona De Vries (2010 Champion) both progressed through to the quarter finals. The 2014 Champion Alison Bartlett, however, was beaten by Scottish Senior Internationalist Lorna McKinlay
Wendy Nicholson had a tough match against former Scottish senior Internationalist Anne Ryan winning at the 22nd hole. However, Anne's sister Mary Smith Scottish Senior Internationalist scrapped through with a 1 hole win over West Vets Champion Liz Stewart.
Renfrewshire County Captain Gillian Kyle and Scottish Senior Intenationalist  had a very close match against Aileen Baker to win on the 17th.
