HELEN HOLM TROPHY WINNER LINN LEADS GERMAN GIRLS CHAMPIONSHIP


Sweden's Linn Grant (Pictured Left) whose grandfather came from Inverness and won the Scottish boys championship, is leading the German international girls championship at St Leon-Rot Golf Club.
Linn, this year's Helen Holm Trophy winner at Troon, has had rounds of 66 and 68 for an excellent tally of 12-under-par 134.
She leads by one shot from Emma Spitz (Austria) (66-69) with three players sharing third place on 136 - Annabell Fuller (England) (69-67), Sweden's Vagliano Trophy team selection Julia Engstrom (67-69), the youngest player ever to win the British women's open amateur championship in 2016, and Caterina Don (Italy) (67-69).
