Aidan O'Hagan and Jillian Farrell lead at


Stephen Gallacher Foundation junior event

Aidan O'Hagan (Old Ranfurly) leads the boys' section by two shots while professional's daughter Jillian Farrell, 17-year-old semi-finalist in the past week's Scottish women's amateur championship, is five shots clear of the girls' field in the Stephen Gallacher Foundation junior tournament at Macdonald Cardrona Golf and Country Club, Peebles.

O'Hagan has had rounds of 71 and 73 for 144 - two ahead of Lewis Irvine (Kirkhill) (73-73) with Marc Watt (Inverallochy) in third place with 71-76 for 147.
Farrell, pictured left, has had scores of 73 and 76 for 149. Her nearest rival is five shots back of 154, Kristy Brodie (Strathmore) (77-77) with another Strathmore player, Megan Ahsley) in third place on 155 (80-75)
