Lily May Humphreys (Stoke-by-Nayland) wins the Comboy Leveret, the first of England's paired 72 hole events

The Comboy Leveret,  the first of England' Golf's paired 72 hole stroke play events,  puts together the competitors in the Comboy Scratch Cup at Delamere Forest played on 26 March, , and the Leveret, played on Saturday 1st April  at Formby Ladies.   By combining the two into a 72 hole event,  competitors can gain valuable Women Amateur Golf Ranks points.

11 competitors played in both competitions.  Lily May Humphries (Stoke-by-Nayland) was second in both,  and gained 41.667 points,  which improved her WAGR ranking by 423 places from 1250th to 827th.

The next combined event is the  Gold Rose... a combination of the Roehampton Gold cup (played on Saturday 1st April... the best amateur was Amelia Jane Williamson (Royal Cromer) who came second)) and the Hampshire Rose to be played at North Hants on Sunday 9th April.
