GREENVILLE, North Carolina – Third-year Kansas State University student Connie Jaffrey from Kilwinning, Ayrshire, took home the Greenville Regional Preview individual title on Tuesday as she led the Kansas State women’s golf team to a third-place finish at the par-72, 6,122-yard Brook Valley Country Club.
Jaffrey, a former Scottish U18 girls champion, with rounds of 71,75 and 73 for an aggregate of three-over-par 219, earned the second individual win of her US college golf career and the 13th individual title in K-State women's golf history. The Wildcats shot a 50-over par 914 for the tournament, finishing one shot back of Augusta for second place and 19 behind team title winners Texas Christian University.
