After a day of rain delays at the 6th Stirling International Students' tournament over The Duke's Course, St Andrews, the big mover from the back of the pack in the women's tournament was Exeter’s Harrie Llewellyn (Vale Resort) who shot a 75 to move into sixth place.
The round of the day, however, saw Stirling student Gemma Batty (Moffat), pictured, make light of the testing conditions shoot a 72 to move to the top of the women's leaderboard at five over 147 with a lead of four from Alexa Hammer (St Andrews).

On the men’s side, the rain delay came right in the middle of the round for a number of those players, providing some extra drama to the back nine as students battled to make the cut. The stand-out from the early tee times was guest player Oliver Bailey, from Sweden, who battled through to return a level par 71 and move comfortably into the top half of the leaderboard.

At the top of the men's leaderboard St Andrews student Peter Kerr (Royal Portrush) repeated his level par round from the first day to take the lead.
Laird Shephed (Rye) shot a 70 to move into second place at one over 143 while his Stirling colleague William Walker (Belton Park) has had a pair of 72s to siet in third place at 144, only two shots off the pace going into the final day.
