Charlotte Thomas (T9) top Brit in field of 84 

players at Dallas tournament

GB and I international player Charlotte Thomas, a student at Washington University,  finished tied ninth in a field of 84 players at the SMU Dallas Athletic Club Women's Invitataionl at the Dallas course of 6,174yd (par 72)

Charlotte, pictured right, had steady rounds of 73, 72 and 75 for a total of 220 - 10 shots more than the winner by five, Yupaporn Kawinpakom (Kansas) from Thailand. She scored 70, 67 and 73 for six-under 210.
Elizabeth Prior (UNLV),  a freshman from Surrey, finished 22nd on 224 (76-72-76)
Becky McGeehan (Texas-San Antonio) had scores of 76, 75 and 76 for 227 and a share of 28th place.
Team-mate Aime Ponte from the Channel Islands finished T35 on 229 with rounds of 78, 74 and 77.
GB and I Vagliano Trophy team player Meghan MacLaren (Florida International) from Wellingborough finished T47 on 231 (82-77-72)
Scotland's Connie Jaffrey tied for 68th place on 238 with scores of 81, 84 and 73.
Oklahoma State (868) won the team title by 20 shots from UNLV with Washington (895) third, SMU (903) fourth, Baylor (904) fifth, TCU (905) sixth, Kansas State (908) seventh.
Other placings: Texas-San Antonio) (909) T9, Florida International (917) T14 in field of 16 teams.

Alice Hewson makes top 20 at Clemson 

Invitational but Alison Knowles is 10th

Curtis Cup team selection hopeful Alice Hewson, pictured, a freshman at Clemson University, finished T18 in a field of 79 players at the Clemson Women's Invitational tournament at The Reserve @ Lake Keowee, South Carolina.
Over a par-72 course of 6,253 yd, Alice shot 74, 76 and 70 for four-over 220  - 12 shots behind the winner by two, American Katie Sharp (Michigan State) (68-70-70 for eight-under 208).
Top Brit was Alison Knowles, a final year student at Michigan State, with three rounds of par 7 for 216 and 10th place.
Dulcie Sverdloff (Kennesaw State), a third-year student from Southend, finished T39 on 225 with rounds of 75, 77 and 73.
