Rachel Walker leads the Brits in huge field at 

Kiawah Island

Rachel Walker, pictured right, from Dumfries and a student at Old Dominion University, Virginia, is the leading British player in a huge field of 216 players and 41 teams at the Kiawah Island Spring Classic over two courses at the venue.
Rachel shot a first-round, one-over-par 73 to be T15 behind the joint leaders on 68, Emily McLennan (Chattanooga), who sounds as if she is Scottish but , in fact, is an Australian, and Kroboll Hansen (Coastal Carolina).
Monifieth's Heather Munro (Elon University), pictured left, is T25 with a 74.
Anglo-Scot Paige Kemp (Stetson University) from Essex shot a 75 to b T39;
Olivia Jay (Radford) from York and Eilidh Watson (Stetson) from Dollar are T153 on the 82 mark. 

ABI LAKER T90 IN ARIZONA
Meanwhile, Abigail Laker from Oxfordshire, in her last term as a student at Arkansas State University, finished tied 90th in a field of 96 players at the Rio Verde Invitational at Rio Verde Country Club, Arizona.
Abi had rounds of 79, 84 and 81 for a total of 244- 27 shots bheind the winner, Hannah Lee (Xavier) who scored 71, 70 and 76 for a one-over-par total of 217 over the 6,215yd course
