Katie Wright is Galloway county champion

Nineteen ladies took part at Newton Stewart and the winner of the Championship with an excellent two rounds of 72 + 72 = 144 was Katie Wright, with runner up Christina Meldrum 78 + 79 = 157
The Rennie Salver was won by Maria Cowan with a wonderful 66 (10).  
Runner-up was Jenny Edmunds 69 (12) and third was Katie Wright 70 (2).  Maria also won the Junior Cup.
Kerry McWilliam was the only magic 2!  (17th)
