Tartan Tour victory at Dalmahoy

Laura Murray (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre, trailing Sally Watson (Castle Stuart) with nine holes to go, surged through on the inward half to win the first prize of £1,575 in the Ladies Tartan Tour two-round round at a wet Marriot Dalmahoy today.

Watson, several shots off the pace overnight, came to the front of the back of a five-birdie second round outward half of 31 but Murray regrouped and overtook the Ladies European Tour a player to win by a single shot.
Murray shot 69 and 71 for a level par total of 140, one ahead of Watgson who shot 71 and 70 for 141.
