Gemma Dryburgh ties for 10th place

Gemma Dryburgh finished T10 in a field of 45 players at the American Championship which was dominated by Central Florida who won the team title and also the individual honours
Aberdonian Dryburgh had scores of 71, 75 and 73 over a par-72 course of 6,225yd at Hammock Beach, Palm Court, Florida.
Monifa Sealy (Central Florida) tied with Sweden's Jenny Haglund at the top of the leaderboard on three-under 213.
Monifa scored 70 71 and 72; Jenny 74 69 70.
Monifa won the individual title play-off.
Central Florida had eight shots to spare in the team event. They had a total of 868, ahead of runners-up SMU (876) and Houston (878).
Tulane finished poorly in seventh place on 896 in a field of nine teams.
Dryburgh will not be back for the 2015-2016 college golf season so the Tulane talent scouts better get cracking if they are to rebuild a team that failed to hit the highlights this past season.
