Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic

USC is ranked No. 2 in the Golfweek/Sagarin women's team rankings.
On Saturday, the Trojans knocked off No. 3 UCLA and No. 4 Duke to reach the match-play final of the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic.
USC topped UCLA, 3-2, in the morning's opening round of match play, then beat Duke, 4-1, in the afternoon's semi-finals.
 The Trojans will face Georgia in Sunday's final  after the Bulldogs, ranked 75th, beat South Carolina, 3-2, and Northwestern via a tiebreaker.
Amy Lee and Karen Chung each recorded two victories for USC, with Lee posting 5 and 4, and 4 and 3 wins over UCLA's GB  and I international Bronte Law and Duke's Gurbani Singh, respectively.
Breakthrough for St Andrews' Lauren Whyte! She has been in the Baylor University team at last, near the end of her freshman year at the Waco, Texas college.

DUKE 4, BAYLOR 1
 *Lisa Maguire (Duke) bt Laura Lonardi 1 hole.
 *Hayley Davis (Baylor) bt Sandy Choi 5 and 4.
*Leona Maguire (Duke) bt Lauren Whyte 5 and 4
Leona  claimed the first two holes and never surrendered the lead. The two traded wins on holes 14 and 15 before Maguire took the next four to build the lead to 6-up. Whyte notched a par on hole two to cut the lead to five before Maguire ended the match on hole six
