Harder Hall Invitational at Sebring, Florida

Roehampton Golf Club teenager Sammy Fuller from Kingston upon Thames has shot up into the top 10 of the Harder Hall Women's Invitational at the halfway stage of the first Florida Orange Blossom Tour event of 2015.

Fifteen-year-old Sammy, pictured right in her GB and I Junior Vagliano Trophy team blazer, improved by four strokes in cool (by Florida standards) and windy conditions with a second-round, two-over-par 74 for 152 which puts her in joint ninth place - seven strokes behind the Wake Forest University fourth-year student Allison Emrey (71-74 for 145).
Bradenton, Florida-based Hally Leadbetter, daughter of renowned coach David Leadbetter, is lying T15 on 154 (76-78)
Scottish Under-21 girls open champion India Clyburn (Woodhall Spa) from Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire is T29 with rounds of 80 and 79 for 159.
The field is divided into sections for the final rounds, i.e. Championship Flight, First Flight, Second Flight, etc.
Sammy Fuller's  12-year-old "little sister," Annabel is T9 in the First Flight after slashing six strokes off her opening-day effort of 86 for a tally of 166 (86-80).
Defending champion Meghan Stasi, who, as Meghan Bolger, played for the winning USA team in the 2008 Curtis Cup match over the Old Course, St Andrews, is T33 on 160 with a pair of 80s.

On a day that was not optimal for scoring, with winds at 20-30 mph and cold temperatures, Wake Forest University Senior Allison Emrey extended her lead at the 60th Harder Hall Women’s Invitational after posting a three-over 74.
Emrey (145) now holds a two-shot lead over high school sophomore Kaitlyn Papp of Austin, Texas who followed her first round 72 with a 75.
A double eagle was made on the par 5 first hole when Susie Cavanaugh holed her 4-iron second shot!

In the Forever Forty-nine division 2012 and 2014 Forever Forty-nine champion Martha Leach of Hebron, Kentucky followed up her first round 80 with a 79 on the blustery and cold day to lead by 5 over Taffy Brower of Boynton Beach, Florida, Therese Quinn of Jacksonville, Florida, and Lisa Schlesinger of Laytonsville, Maryland.

In the Ben Roman division, Clate Aydlett of Elizabeth City, North Carolina followed her first round 84 with an 86 and holds a six-shot lead over Carroll Dethrow of Nevada.
