DURHAM, North Carolina - In one of only a few local tournaments for the Blue Devils this season, the seventh-ranked Duke women’s golf team will play in the Tar Heel Invitational Oct. 10-12 at the 6,379-yard, par 72 Finley Golf Course in Chapel Hill, North Carolina
Competing
this weekend will be Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Duke, Florida, Louisiana State,
Louisville, Michigan State, Mississippi, North Carolina, North Carolina State,
Oklahoma, Oregon, Rollins, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Virginia and
Wake Forest.
Duke will feature a line-up of junior
Celine Boutier, sophomore Sandy Choi, freshmen
twins from Ireland Leona and Lisa Maguire and freshman Gurbani Singh.
It will mark the college debut for Singh, who missed the first two
tournaments playing with her home country of India at the Women’s World
Amateur Team Championship and the Asian games.
The
invitational will feature 54 holes with 18 holes each day.
