EAST LOTHIAN SET TO WIN EAST
DIVISION TITLE AT NORTH BERWICK
East Lothian are in a strong position going into the third and final day of the East Division women's inter-county team golf championship at North Berwick.
They have a 100 per cent winning record, having followed up an opening day win over Stirling and Clackmannan by beating Fife 6 1/2 to 2 1/2 yesterday (Tuesday).
Midlothian, who won the divisional title last year and went to win the national championship, lost for the second time and will win neither title this year. They were beaten 5-4 by Stirling and Clackmannan afer losing their opening match to Fife.
