AYRSHIRE WOMEN'S COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP AT GLASGOW GAILES

LINZI ALLAN THROUGH TO LAST FOUR

Top seed Linzi Allan (West Kilbride) reached the semi-finals of the Ayrshire women's county golf championship with a 2 and 1 win over Lauren Gilbert (Largs) at a chilly Glasgow Gailes Golf Club today.
Her opponent in Thursday morning's semi-finals will be Alex Glennie (Kilmarnock Barassie) at 5 and 3 winner over Pauline Patrick (Irvine) in the round of the last eight.
The other semi-final will feature defending champion and 2013 Scottish girls champon Connie Jaffrey (Troon Ladies) and Cathering Malcolm (Prestwick St Cuthbert)
