ABERDEEN LADIES WIN WATT DUFFUS TROPHY AGAIN AT BALLATER

Aberdeen Ladies won the Watt Duffus Trophy women's inter-club team golf tournament at Ballater (on Monday) for the fourth time in the past five years.The quartet of Sheena Wood, Sammy Leslie, Fiona Seedhouse and Kim Watt totalled 233, nine strokes ahead of runners-up Murcar Links.
McDonald Ellon (Anne Bowman, Joan Forbes, Fiona Campbell and Mandy Roger) won the handicap team award for the first time with a net total of 223.
Rachel Polson (Peterculter), with a round of 72 won the Mrs J P Kennaway Cup for the best individual score, for the second year in a row.
Lauren Whyte (Aberdeen Ladies), playing off eight, won the individual handicap trophy with a net 68.
