CLARA BAENA SANCHEZ WINS PORTUGUESE INTERNATIONAL TITLE

Curtis Cup player Amy Boulden (Conwy, North Wales) finished seventh and was the highest placed British and Irish player in the final totals of the Portuguese international women's amateur championship at Montado Golf Resort, Setubal on the Costa Azul.
Friday's third round was fogged off, reducing the scheduled 72-hole championship to three rounds.
Winner was Spain's 17-year-old Clara Baena Sanchez with a seven-under-par total of 209, make up of rounds of 71, 68 and 70.
She won by two shots from Karolin Lampert (Germany) and Finland's Matilda Castron, both of whom totalled 211.
Long-time leader Vicki Troeltsch finished joint fourth on 213.
Amy Boulden had rounds of 74, 70 and 74 for two-over-par 218 and seventh position.
Carnoustie teenager Jess Meek - bound for Missouri University in August, finished T18 on 224 with scores of 75, 72 and 77.
Next came Ireland's Aedin Murphy with roundes of 76, 75 and 76 for 227 and a share of 29th place.
