LOUISE KENNEY COMPLETES FIFE COUNTY TITLE HAT-TRICK

Scottish champion and GB and I international Louise Kenney (Pitreavie) completed a hat-trick of Fife county championship victories at Drumoig on Saturday.
The final should have been played in July but was postponed because of bad weather.
Louise, winner of the title in 2009 and 2010, made it three in a row by beating senior international Lorna Bennett (Ladybank) by 4 and 3.
Christine Steedman, Fife county captain, reports:
"It was an excellent final, full of quality golf. Louise's driving and short game were in excellent order and I think Lorna was feeling the effects of a tiring week at the British Seniors Championship at Belvoir Park GC, Belfast last week."
