Last year's Scottish girls champion Lesley Atkins (Gullane Ladies) is lying joint second in the Under-16 girls' category of the North of England Under-16 boys and girls' championship at Pannal Golf Club, Yorkshire.
Lesley has had rouns of 77 and 72 for 149, the same total as England's Olivia Winning (73-76) and Annabel Dimmock (73-76).
Spain's Ainhoa Olarra leads the Under-16 girls with scores of 73 and 75 for 148.
