Laura and Andrea make top 10 in Ohio

Valley Conference Championship

Two English students, Laura Culter from Essex and Andrea Downer from Surrey, made the top 10 in the Ohio Valley Conference Women's Championship at Grey Stone Golf Club, Dickson in Tennessee.
Laura, pictured first right, a third-year student at Jacksonville State University, finished joint third in a field of 40 players with scores of 75 and 73 for 148 - only three shots behind the winner, Chelsea Harris (Austin Peay State) (71-74) and two behind runner-up and team-mate Lucia Fernandez (75-71).
Andrea, pictured far right, squeezed into the top 10 in joint ninth position with a pair of 76s for 152.
Jacksonville State (598) won the team tile ahead of Murray State (604) in a field of eight squads.
Gemma Hardie makes top 10 in Texas

Gemma Hardie from Scunthorpe, a sophomore student at Central Arkansas University, tied for ninth place in a field of 40 players for the Southland Conference women's championship.
Gemma had steady scores of 73, 74 and 75 for a total of 222 over the par-71, 6067yd course at Raven Nest Golf Club, Huntsville in Texas.
Central Arkansas team-mate Rebecca Sorensen won by six strokes with rounds of 70, 70 and 73 for 213.
