MURCAR LINKS WIN FIRST TIE OF
SCRATCH LEAGUE PLAY-OFFS
Murcar Links, holders of the trophy, beat Cruden Bay 3-1 at Cruden Bay in the first tie of the three-way play-off between the sectional winners for the Aberdeenshire Women’s Scratch League championship.
Details (Cruden Bay names first):
Jill Harrison lost to Laura McLardy 4 and 3.
Gill Murray bt Carol Wilson 4 and 3.
Ann Ross lost to Frances Neish 2 holes.
Mary Miller lost to Sara Thomson 6 and 5.
Banchory are the third team in the play-offs. They will play at Murcar Links on September 16 while the Banchory v Cruden Bay tie will be played on September 24.
