THREE PAST CHAMPIONS THROUGH TO LAST
EIGHT OF CENTENARY CHAMPIONSHIP

Three former title-winners, Lynn Kenny (Stirling University), Elaine Moffat (St Regulus) and Anne Laing (Vale of Leven), are through to the last eight of the Centenary Scottish women's amateur golf championship over the Old Course, St Andrews.
Here's how they got through their second-round matches.

LYNN KENNY beat CARA GRUBER by 4 and 2.
Kenny single-putted the first four greens in starting par-eagle-birdie-birdie to be three up on the fifth tee. She went four up at the seventh before Gruber won her first hole, the eighth, but Cara slipped four down again when Lynn won the 11th.
Cara chipped away at the deficit by winning the 15th to be back to three down but she drove out of bounds at the 16th to lose the hole and the match.
"Lynn putted unbelievably," said Cara.
